Evacuation Warnings in Effect
February 14, 2026 at 12 PM: Evacuation Warnings are in effect for select parcels near recent burn areas, valid from Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 9PM EXTENDED through Wednesday February 18, 2026, at 9AM due to anticipated weather conditions that present a risk of debris and mudlflows that can damage property and pose a risk to personal safety.
Recent burn areas should maintain awareness of nearby conditions. Areas near the Canyon, Bethany, Eaton, Palisades, Kenneth, Sunset, Lidia, Hurst, Franklin, and Bridge Fires should prepare to evacuate in the event an Evacuation Order is issued.
Notification by public safety personnel to affected residents and business are being made via door knock, hangtag/flyer, Wireless Emergency Alert, and Genasys Protect.
Residents and businesses in the vicinity of affected areas are advised to follow directions from local public safety personnel, monitor this page and trusted sources of information for developments. Preparedness information may be found by visiting ready.lacounty.gov

Ocean Water Quality Rain Advisory:
Advisory for all Los Angeles County Beaches in Effect Until Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 8:00am
Due to current rainfall, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health advises beach users to avoid all water contact, especially near discharging storm drains, creeks, and rivers due to potentially higher bacteria levels in these areas. This includes any runoff that may flow onto or pond on the beach sand.
Ocean and bay recreational waters, especially near discharging storm drains, creeks and rivers can be contaminated with bacteria, chemicals, debris, trash, and other public health hazards from city streets and mountain areas after a rain fall. Individuals who enter the water in these areas could become ill. Rain advisories remain in effect for 72 hours after the rainfall ends.
This advisory will be in effect until at least Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 8:00am.
This advisory may be extended depending on further rainfall.
